VANISHING POINT: Eight Songs Completed For New Album
April 16, 2010Australian progressive metal band VANISHING POINT is currently writing material for its as-yet-untitled fifth studio album, to be released in late 2010/early 2011. The group states, "So far there's about eight pre-production songs and they're sounding very very cool. Soon we will discuss who will produce the album and different studios to record in."
VANISHING POINT's last CD, "The Fourth Season", was released in August 2007 via Dockyard 1. The follow-up to 2005's "Embrace the Silence" was once again recorded with Endel Rivers at Palm studios in the band's hometown of Melbourne. Mastering duties were handled by legendary Mika Jussila (STRATOVARIUS, NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARCTICA) at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland.
